Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! Both Pennekamp PTA & Manhattan Beach Education Foundation (MBEF) provide critical funding to enrich and enhance your child’s education. Your Pennekamp PTA anticipates spending $500 per child for this academic year.
Your PTA Donation Pays For:
- Core Technology cost of $100/child (district-mandated)
- Classroom supplies and instructional materials
- Library books
- Science lab
- Field trips
- P.E. equipment
- Office supplies
- Young at Art program
- Visual & Performing Arts program
- Assemblies and school spirit events
- Social emotional wellness programs
- Professional teacher development
- Local, state, and national advocacy
- Campus beautification and maintenance
Pennekamp PTA Donation Levels for 2023-2024:
Super Dragon – $500 per student + at least Patron level ($2,000+) donation to MBEF (https://mbef.org)
Receive a Super Dragon trucker hat & car magnet, 5 Principal-for-the Day raffle tickets, access to the Pennekamp online directory, membership to the 33rd PTA district, and voting rights at PTA General Meetings.
Dragon Supporter – $375 per student + any level donation to MBEF (https://mbef.org)
Receive a Proud Supporter car magnet, 3 Principal-for-the-Day raffle tickets, access to the Pennekamp online directory, membership to the 33rd PTA district, and voting rights at PTA General Meetings.
PK Friend – $150 per student
Receive one Principal-for-the-Day raffle ticket, access to the Pennekamp online directory, membership to the 33rd PTA district, and voting rights at PTA General Meetings.
Member - $30 per member registration
Receive two parent memberships to the 33rd PTA district, access to the Pennekamp online directory, and voting rights at PTA General Meetings.
